I am originally from a small town outside of Chicago, but currently live in Denver, Colorado. I recently completed a child life internship at Children's Hospital Colorado, with clinical rotations in the inpatient and outpatient solid tumor oncology program, the trauma/rehabilitation unit, and the surgery center. I hope to utilize these experiences, as well as my Spanish language skills and Therapeutic Recreation Certification, to provide trauma-informed, culturally aware care as a Child Life Specialist entering the profession.
